Westlea Park

Westlea Park is a lovely local park in Westlea, West Swindon, about 10 minutes walk from Asda.
The play area is split into two main sections; one for younger kids with a slide, rockers, and swing, and one for older kids with a bigger slide, climbing frame, climbing panels, see saw and swings. There is also a football / basketball court and seating.

There is a small mound next to the play park which is perfect for the littlies to sledge on during snow season, and a small pond which has been home to some ducks but currently could do with a bit of attention.

There is currently a project to "re-wild" the park, with many bulbs being planted (watch out for Bluebells in spring) and the wooded areas are very well maintained.
As it is a local park there are no toilets, refreshments or specific parking, however you can park on the road adjacent to the park, Westlea Drive.
