5" and 7.25" Dual Gauge Miniature Railway

Looking for a day out with the family? Visit Coate Water Country Park, Swindon, and ride on the recently extended miniature railway. Current fare is £2 per person for a 10 minute ride.

Open every Sunday and bank holiday Mondays between Easter and August (weather permitting) from around 11am - 5pm (or dusk in the winter) the Coate Water Miniature Railway runs for just under a mile through a lovely wooded setting

A wheelchair accessible carriage is available upon request. Please note that steam haulage is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed, as it is reliant on members bringing their locomotives. Usually the resident battery electric locos will be the motive power.
