Christmas at STEAM returns on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December, running from 10am to 5pm and bringing the museum to life with festive sparkle. 

Visitors can wander through a magical Christmas wonderland featuring more than 50 specially selected market stalls set among STEAM’s award-winning displays and iconic GWR locomotives. 

From handcrafted silver jewellery and photographic prints to glass art, wooden toys, traditional games, confectionery, chutneys, and beautifully made Christmas decorations, there’s something for every gift list. 

Adding to the festive atmosphere, Santa will host his popular Storytime sessions on both days, where children can enjoy a cosy Christmas tale and receive a wrapped gift inside Hawksworth Hall. 

Storytime costs £10.50 per child on top of standard admission, lasts around 20 minutes, and requires an accompanying adult (maximum two adults per child). 

Tickets can be booked online by selecting Christmas at STEAM admission, followed by the Storytime option.
