Blossom Festival is on from April 29th - May 2nd.

Town Gardens Cafe are celebrating their first year in business, and the start of the famous cherry blossom season at Town Gardens with Blossom Festival.

Join in with a series of blossom / spring themed events and activities across the weekend of April 29th - May 2nd, and try some pink blossom inspired menu specials at the cafe.

What's on:

Craft and Story Picnic with Old Town Library

Friday 11am

£5 per one adult and one child (additional children can be added)

Join the library team under the Blossom trees for a story, and craft activity, suitable for toddlers / pre-school children, and their parents /carers.

Ticket price includes a hot drink for the adult, and some picnic items for the child.

Children's Nature Crowns

Saturday 10am OR 11am

£5 per child

Swindon artist Sue Bardwell helping children (or young at heart) create crowns, decorated with items foraged from the Gardens.

Ticket price includes a children's hot chocolate or juice.

Botanical Clay Decorations

Saturday 3pm

£15 per person

Swindon artist Sue Bardwell will help you make a beautiful clay decoration, pressed with flowers from the Garden

Ticket prices includes a hot drink and slice of cake from Town Gardens Cafe

Blossom Cookie Decorating

Sunday 10am / 10.45am / 11.30am

£5 per child

Make beautiful Blossom inspired shortbread decorations with Swindon baker Lizzie Bakes

Ticket price includes x 3 cookies to take home.

Ikebana Flower Arranging

Sunday 11am OR 1pm

£35 per person

Join Coffee and Flowers' Sherylee to learn the Japanese art of Ikebana Flower Arranging.

Participants get a selection of flowers, the 'frog' to attach their flowers to, tuition, coffee and a slice of cake.
