Lawn Woods is a large area (50 acres) of park and woodland, with huge expanses of grass, amazing views over Swindon, a great variety of trees, and also has 2 large lakes that are home to fish and waterbirds.

Lawn Woods can be accessed via a number of entrances; Old Town (paid parking in any of the Old Town car parks), Lawn (on street parking) and Walcot. There are no toilets or amenities, however, there are local shops near all entrances if you want to stock up on refreshments last minute.

There are pathways that are pushchair and wheelchair friendly (although some are on a steep gradient), however the wood paths and lake paths get very muddy in the rain
